Structure of an essay

For the first time when you write something in IELTS test, you should know the structure. Of course, there are many ways to make a piece of writing, but following some rules will help you get more point in the test. Here is the structure: - Topic Sentence - Paragraph  - Concluding Sentence Now, we will analyze: 1. Topic Sentence This sentence should convey the controlling area and contain noun phrases or adjectival phrases. It must be clear and an active sentence. Besides, it shouldn't be too specific, general and too long. 2. Paragraph There will be some main ideas that you want to show. Each of them should be developed by one paragraph. A paragraph contains 4-7 sentences and can have up to 3 supporting ideas. If you want to link the paragraphs together, linking words could be used. 2.1. Essay in IELTS? Is that a problem?

Hi fellows, As a student, like everybody else, I have my own dream of studying overseas. However, English is always a barrier inhibiting me from the edge of the desire. IELTS seems to be the only way for me to catch the chance, and it really does! Despite that, Writing is the toughest part that I couldn't handle well. I think this is true for most of Vietnamese Students, also.
